چکیده

Skin wound healing is a complex and dynamic process that aims to restore lesioned tissues. Collagen-based skin substitutes are promising treatment promote by mimicking the native structure. Recently, collagen from marine organisms has gained interest as source for producing biomaterials regenerative strategies. This preliminary study aimed describe application of collagen-based skin-like scaffold (CBSS), manufactured with extracted sea urchin food waste, treat experimental wounds in large animal. The wound-healing was assessed over different time points means clinical, histopathological, molecular analysis. CBSS improved re-epithelialization along cell proliferation, gene expression growth factors (VEGF-A), development adnexa throughout process. Furthermore, it regulated type I III, thus enhancing maturation granulation tissue into mature dermis without any signs scarring observed untreated wounds. results (reduced inflammation, better re-epithelialization, proper adnexa) suggest urchin-derived biomaterial “blue biotechnologies” perspective animals Veterinary interest.

Healing Potential of Mesenchymal Stem Cells Cultured on a Collagen-Based Scaffold for Skin Regeneration

Background: Wound healing of burned skin remains a major goal in public health. Previous reports showed that the bone marrow stem cells were potent in keratinization and vascularization of full thickness skin wounds. Methods: In this study, mesenchymal stem cells were derived from rat adipose tissues and characterized by flowcytometry. Staining methods were used to evaluate their differentiatio...
